The entire Path that you travel is a search for a diamond that was buried at the bottom of your heart. There is no path, nor there is a traveller. There is only an illusion of the search, which is caused by "a disconnection" of your head from your heart.
Stop for a moment and see: the real world is full of people searching for the diamonds of their hearts. They pursue their search in art galleries and shopping malls, in dark cellars of buildings and in meaders of subconsciousness, in funfairs of thrilling experiences and in cinema malls of maxi projections. In the centres of life gambles, on the highways of dreams, in depths of non-existing oceans of melancholy, in the furthest corners of the worlds of complex ideas...
It is easy to say: you are a pure consciousness, you are light, you are love, you are Buddha, you are Jesus. You are who you are.
The one, who recognizes the Truth about themselves however, is eventually the only one with the right to say to themselves: I am God, I am the Master.
Before you grant yourself such luxury, you most likely will want to test all of the methods of your rendezvous with the Truth about yourself, the one you have chosen as your “path of awakening”. You will take a lot of trouble to prove there are some “others” and will learn sophisticated methods of suffering. And then the time will come for the awakening and spiritual “path”. You will meet teachers and guru who know more. Most likely you will want to test yourself denying your teachers, rejecting lessons, not accepting the insights. And so you will join the ranks of castaways on the island of “I myself”, visiting the archipelago of “Yes, but” on your way. You will stand alone in the crowd of Robinsons, such as yourself. You will learn the results of heroic attempt to reach the freedom without taking the responsibility for naming yourself the king of the island.
"Make it last for all of us and love yourself!"
- Byron Katie
